# Dylan Thomas, Gyps.

Do not whip scared at that Indian Creek,  
Old cams should catch and grip at climber's flight;  
Gyps, gyps against the returning work week.

Though wise men at rope's end let loose high shriek,  
Because their placements will not blow, incite:  
Do not be afraid to whip at the Creek.

Strong men, even them, have failures physique  
Forearms pumped though plastic pulling acolyte,  
Gyps, gyps against the returning work week.

Wild men who climb and play even midweek  
And airborne, no pro, on sandstone alight,  
Do not whip scared at that Indian Creek.

Tired men, cars packed, can smell cubicle's reek  
Minds' eyes see always bright desert's harsh heights  
Gyps, gyps against the returning work week.

And you, my gyps, beside me on spire's peak  
Behold, awed, the bounty of your onsight.

Do not be afraid to whip at the Creek.  
Gyps, gyps against the returning work week.
