# Archive crawling is always emotional

Archive crawling is always emotional. Photographs surface the memories of times and friends gone by; it's the reason I keep doing this. I usually find myself smiling as the photos pull things to the surface of my mind, but sometimes it can be a bittersweet smile. So many faces I haven't seen in so long, and some that I never will again. Hugs to all of you who knew this fiery man. Let's reminisce around a campfire soon, and keep his memory alive in more than just photos.
