I spent the evening I took this photo at the top of Straight Edge, where I watched the Coloradans light their fires in the campground below, and the sun move behind the pass, the sky turn orange and red and purple then black, and the stars come out and finally the campfires fade.
Laurel spent it swearing and bleeding and cursing me and regretting her choice of friends.
