Maciej and I had just finished the booter up the Right Sister at the Nokhu Crags and broken into sunlight. I scrambled up some choss to set up for shots of him finishing a steep snowclimb to access the Middle Sister, but ended up with this candid of him taking in the views and sunshine before committing to going back down the narrow, shadowy sisters as my favorite. I keep coming back to it and remembering all the feelings of wonder, awe, excitement and fulfillment inherent in working hard to go somewhere remote, wild and high.
